About Us

It’s not easy to write about your self, but here goes. I have had a close association with
animals most of my life. Always loved dogs, and most any other creature. Most of all enchanted
with horses from my first encounter with them at age 5. Began showing dogs in the 60’s in Ohio.
My first show dog was a Doberman.  I have enjoyed many breeds over the years. I still love the
Dobies, of which we have 2 girls. Haven’t had a litter in over 20 years. I’ve had Whippets
since 1983, and still find them stunning, and very pleasant to be around. My first Chihuahua
came to me as a gift from my husband in 96. They are adorable little guys and lots of fun. Easier
to show, as you don’t have to run around the ring.  I’m getting too old for that. My first
Irish Terrier came about in Florida.  Brannigan was a super personality, and lots of fun to take
anywhere. He was a real ham. He loved to show also. The only point he got was when he took
Best of Breed over a Champion. There just wasn’t any competition down there. At least not
back in the late 80’s.

My husband and I met because of our love of horses. Won’t go into details, but we have been
married for 10 more than years and still love our horses. Jack enjoys the dogs as much as I do. The dogs all
love to sit on his lap whenever possible. This is a little insight on our life with our family of dogs
and horses. It sure keeps us busy, and young in heart.

Chow Chows have been a part of my life since 1974. Had my first litter of Chow puppies in 76.
My Ch. Silverstone Cypress was born in 78. He finished his Championship easily, and sired Champions,
and several Chows that got their titles in Obedience  also. For a Chow, that is quite an accomplishment.

We have two Foy Fox Terriers. Both well bred, and a delight. Our boy Emmett, is pointed, and just
past his first year birthday.   He will finish as a Champion I have no doubt.

Our Toy Poodles are mainly pets, but have good bloodlines, and someday we hope to have some
darling puppies.

Hope you enjoy your visit  to our family of 4 legged kids, horses too.

Just another note you may have caught on the home page we will be moving to Goldendale, Washington in 2007.
We thought we would share this pictures of the wheat fields and this is how the town got their name.
